Our pastors, Bible women and doctors are ministering to victims of the sex trade in 3 large red light districts in Andhra Pradesh. In 2009 we established a New Life Center for women that we have set free from prostitution, so that we can give them the support and vocational training they need to begin a new life in dignity.
We are planning to set up more centers in villages to give poor and uneducated people vocational training like tailoring and embroidery work.
We are supporting students of a range of ages in computer education. 8o% of the students are living below the poverty line, so they can not fund their own training. This is a great way to better their chances of getting a substantial income to support themselves.
